About the event
The Mortuary Manor BOOkfest is an immersive horror and paranormal literary event held at the historic Mortuary Manor (built in 1897) at 2907 Lagrange St, Toledo, Ohio.
The main daytime festival features signings by 20 Midwest horror authors, dozens of spooky vendors, and tours of the Victorian funeral museum, vintage morgue, and embalming rooms. After the festival, the manor offers after-hours evening flashlight tours and guided paranormal investigations.
Date: Saturday, August 1, 2026
General Admission: $15 for the BOOkfest
Evening Tours: $25 for 1-hour flashlight tours (7:00 PM and 8:00 PM)
Ghost Hunt: $50 for a 3-hour guided paranormal investigation (9:00 PM to Midnight)
