Exposed to the religion of Spiritualism during his preteen years, he has dedicated himself to learning everything he can about the world of spirits.  Not only has he studied mediumship, several occult traditions, and experimented with sensory isolation experiments, but he has also pushed the limits of the etheric veil through historical research and a “boots on the ground” approach to investigating.  From holding seances in historic locations to actually retracing the historic footsteps of long-dead men in order to elicit a spectral reaction, he has experienced plenty of unusual phenomena.  Tim Shaw is no stranger to sleeping in prisons, asylums, and battlefield hospitals. All have a story to tell, and by combining research and paranormal investigation, a story will eventually emerge.
